One afternoon I received a call from the owners of this property asking if I was home. I said "yes, why?". They said, "our house has been struck by lightning and is on fire! can you please get over there and let us know what’s happening?". I arrived 5 minutes later and the owners shortly after that. As we stood watching the fire brigade extinguish the fire in the roof, one of them remarked; "maybe we can use the insurance funds to add another storey, rather than just replace the roof?". That was the beginning of Lighting House.
