A PLACE TO REST Gold Coast Spit

Working with a modest budget is always a challenge, but this building demonstrates that the process and outcome can be rewarding nonetheless. Our first project for the Gold Coast Waterways Authority, The Spit amenities incorporates toilets, showers, washroom and waiting area in a simple, elongated plan. The lightweight perimeter screen promotes privacy and security, sunlight and breeze, while the masonry core and steel structure ensure vandal resistance and longevity in the harsh coastal environment.
